The McKenzie Main Stage will be playing host to some of the coolest artists in The UK this year. While you sip those G and T’s on our West Beach Gin Terrace, you will be able to enjoy a range of musical styles which includes country, jazz, swing and the occasional ‘Diva’ moment too!
The Sussex Gin Fest live artist programme is being organised in association with Brighton’s premier talent management and celebrity booking agency, McKenzie Associates. Here’s just some of the artists you can expect to see and we will be announcing our full Main Stage programme in the coming weeks.
Matthew is the perfect tonic to accompany this Gin Fest. He has performed for HM The Queen and will be bringing a touch of sophistication to the day as he emulates and honours the most popular artistes from the golden age of music. From Nat King Cole to Sinatra, Blues to The Great American Songbook we say sit back, relax and enjoy.
Bringing sparkle, fizz and a surprising twist or two, The Sundaes will be adding the fun to this years’ Gin Fest. They were finalists in the BBC 1 prime time show ‘All Together Now’ and are quite simply the ‘biggest’ girl group in town! Their unique act combines stunning vocals, sensational choreography and superb comic timing, not to mention the flamboyant costumes that may well distract you from that superb Gin you have in your hand.
We can’t be-GIN to tell you how talented Laura Evans is. Her country, cool style has entertained thousands of people both here and in the US. Originally part of a band named ‘Love Bazaar,’ Laura has had an acclaimed career as a solo artist for many years and last year performed at the C2C: Country to Country festival at the O2 arena. Her talents are not just limited to her voice, you may even recognise Laura from her role as ‘Madison’ in ‘The Basil Brush Show!’
